Farming is pretty good. Really good, especially since we barely work 5 months a year.

Best career i've ever had. Farming is fricken awesome!

God forbid some of you ever have to go back to a real job.

Yes your right bucket. Every month they send us an extra train. Sorry about that, lots of land for sale come move here, it's always greener on the other side.

Ok now you are going to extremes.

Just admit it has happened. When manitoba floods some things get done prior without regard for others. As a preventative.

          It's a fact. Don't deny it.

Your talking about the land of milk and honey ( red river valley ) Ya they get priority over me too whenever the big lake aggasy gets flooded, it certainly has a small impact on grain transportation as a whole. I call it helping my neighbour in time of need. How do you spell agassiy?

Hey Tweety if you think farmers only work five months of the year than you must be one of those spoiled little boys with a rich Daddy and Grandpa. Let me guess, you spend your days riding around in a fancy machine with the AC blowing through your hair well Papa and Grandpa do all the management and take all the risk. If you are to continue with comments like that I would suggest wearing a bag over your head when driving the toys daddy buys you!

                  Stonepicker.

I was wrong and I thought maybe I would be on this one.

Still points to issues that go unresolved. Reactive instead of proactive.

Sure I don't mind they get some help but someone should figure a long term solution for the flood zones.

The written word is hard to pick that up on.

I miss alot of comments that are sarcastic then end up writing drivel on.

                      Lol?

Too bad we could not just once all get along long enough to put the screws to everyone in ag that has made a fortune off the backs of the farmer. I would love to see those corporate bastards sweat for a little while and see what its like! The established order ensures we remain divided because they know what would happen if we stood together.

We do have that power. If everyone didn't fire up this year, it wouldn't take long to straighten out.

problem is some would view it as an opportunity as opposed to a general fix for all farmers.

Holy cow, so if you farm alone, manage your equipment budget with a sharp pencil, have a 5 year rotation, that means i'm a spoiled brat?

Your comments say a lot more about yourself than they ever say about me.

And like i've said quite a few times, i farm in SK. If in alberta, it would be even better. They have had an extremely profitable and long run.

                              Farming, the best job ever.
