They are all our friends. Look at ritz and anderson. Close to 20 years in Ottawa and how has it changed?

Seems they Went in being farmers friends and just got lost.

They just need a nudge to get them going!
A good cause to motivate them!

          Tom

I have been nudging them since October 2013.

          Let me repeat myself.

          They don't give a shit.

And then you have Jim pallister praising the use of super Bs.

The modern day three ton backed up at every point.

And to be used as a grain movement tool on the public highway system.

Holy **** this guy is stupid.

I hope pallister becomes premier of manitoba and finds out what highways cost to build and rebuild 5 times in the life of a railway.

And upgrade them to heavy haul standards.

It's cheaper to build a railway than highways.

But that depends on if you can think past your nose.

I got the pallister guys mixed up.

                My mistake.

Point still holds - using super Bs to replace a railway is still stupid.

                  Bucket,

If the railway will not give service... then what choice is there?

We have trucks. Moving grain around is expensive. No having cash flow... and delivering contracts becomes difficult... demands a solution. S-Bee is about the only arbitrage opportunity... when rail is operating at 110 percent of capacity!

The only reason the railways are operating at a high capacity is because they got rid of locomotives and railcars.

Why do people keep buying into this bullshit. ?

If they still had the locomotives and railcars they might be operating at 75 percent but they would be moving more product.

Unless they have done the math on single track line and feel that's the best they can do.

Only 20 boats or a million tonnes capacity of empty capacity floating at vancouver. Wonder who ordered the boats. They don't just show up.?

And the ports terminals are not full either.

Pretty nice winter to move less grain than the previous year when it was a bitch of a winter.

I am with Bucket on this one
Tom , cut your machinery and labour in half then go farm more acres . Then blame the weather when you are still harvesting in December,
We all agree there are issues with grain movement but it's the whole system beyond the farm gate not just the rail ways . If the rail capacity doubled, the capacity at the cost would implode.

Tom back in 2011 you said you couldn't wait to start milling your own grain then haul the rest to Sweetgrass MT. To sell on US market.
Now is your chance. It is legal.

                          wm,

We need investment and better logistics here... building a secondary market in Montana... is a long term dead end for someone who is 300 miles from Sweetgrass.

We need to revise the rules... the Hunter CNCP Alliance have claimed as their rights.

The CTA Act certainly has the constitutional authority to reform transport service logistics. Many people have worked much too hard... to give up now! It is the right thing to do... to fight misguided people who are hurting everyone in my local... and western Canadian family!!!
