Have a heart! Tom is going through withdrawal symptoms at the moment, hence his mind is clouded. What he needs is a nice juicy T-bone grilled to his liking, with a nice big baked potato with melted butter, sour cream, bacon bits and chives adorning it. With a side of garden salad, covered with orange slices and dried tomatoes and doused with a balsamic vinegar and red wine dressing. Ummm, and warm apple pie with French Vanilla ice cream on top for desert.
Tom, your pretend hunger strike against the Hunter Alliance is a joke at best and will only serve to make us all look like a bunch of morons humping a doorknob. You rolled the dice and lost. And no one appears to be much interested in jumping aboard your protest train. Taking on Hunter ain't the same as protesting the CWB, as you are obviously slowly learning.

Canada, the greatest Country in the world, as you say.

Hunter/Ackman are truly more formidable foes than the CWB. You're punching way above your weight class.

                  Nothing ventured... nothing gained.

Better to have tried and failed... than failed to try.

With friends like the folks on this thread... perhaps I need to watch the lone ranger... to find encouragement!

All it takes for misguided uncaring people to triumph... is for the folks who know the difference between right and wrong... to do wrong... which is nothing!

Success comes before work... just in the dictionary!

Most of us agree that untimely grain deliveries to ships at port are costing us dearly, you and a lot of other studies prove that - as do our bank accounts.
Line companies could be our Lone Ramger if they honoured their contract by either taking delivery or by payment of late delivery - then stand with farmers -Tonto's - to fight to improve rail service.
Tom , You need to get your line company buddies behind you and then you will gain a lot if Tonto's in a hurry. If the line companies don't care to honour their side of a contract this all becomes a three way finger pointing mess , as it is now, like a dog chasing it's tail ..

                        Furrow,

Perhaps you get different contracts than I do?

'Force Majeure' is included in yours as well, correct?

Force majeure is generally intended to include risks beyond the reasonable control of a party, incurred not as a product or result of the negligence or malfeasance of a party, which have a materially adverse effect on the ability of such party to perform its obligations.

If we don't stick together... we will fall apart.

Nothing on the news about your hunger strike Tom. Is it only us readers on agriville that know about it. Sorry if I did miss it on TV, but can't be in the house all the time.
