Is anybody moving anything? Getting ridiculous!

So we hear this big demand for peas and nothing moving around here and prices sliding. What the hell is happenning.
Tom you're in ritz s pocket why wasting your time posting when all you have to do is pick up the phone tell Gerry to get this bull fixed up

No canola moving no wheat unless of course you're desperate to sell as feed.

Banks credit unions and FCC should be extending
Input deadlines. Ritz and little Wally should be saying something.

I hauled half a jan pea contract that was signed Nov 2013.

No wheat no oats and rest of peas won't go till April

      Terrible car deliveries, yes.

But tweety says all is wonderful, there is no issues. Maybe he works for ritz - hmmmm.

This problem is raising it's ugly head all over - not just a local issue either.

The government will say the railways are working. Raitt alluded to that when she discounted the ag transport coalition report last week.

Ottawa doesn't know what the **** is going on and no amount of phone calls will change that.

They got the votes we don't matter.

          This isn't rocket science folks.

          It's incompetence.

Actually furrow, yes. Just hauled 500 tons of malt this week. Great price. Excellent net per acre.

            Ah Farming.

It would interesting to know where grain deliveries have been excellent and where grain deliveries are 2-3 months behind. In the NB area, deliveries in general are from close to par to about a month behind . Areas east from what I hear are much further behind contract dates.

Yes Wakopa, best to word carefully anything positive at all.

Good question about learning. Going to have to ponder that one.

Our Spring wheat is gone, our durum is "supposed" to go next week(fingers crossed, delayed once already,{come on CP}), Didn't sell much canola(a bit for June/July delivery). Most of the green peas are gone. Got rid of some flax, one contract delayed.

Sometimes things move a bit better through the small processors, niche type crops, had good movement of flax through Legumex Walker and green peas through All Commodities Trading and Legumex Walker. Was quite happy with the wheat movement through Louis Dreyfus...

Sold enough to keep FCC happy, groceries on the table and the wolf from the door(until sometime in 2016, LOL).

Enjoy the week end, Hurry, Hurry Hard.

Tweety your lucky you have grain movement count your lucky stars!
85% have or are experiencing service like last year! We finally got cars today first time since end of jan! It's one of Sask newest terminals on a good line! Yes a accident did cause two week delay!
Grain in general is not moving well at all prices are dipping for 2015!
                        Ah farming!

Tweety and Wakopa, it's not all bad and it's not all good. Fooling ourselves on either end of the spectrum is folly. Be realistic. There may be individual problems out there across the fence or somewhere clear across the Prairies. Generally I consider myself very lucky, I don't like everything that's happening and we all have the right to vent(or "complain"). There are some real issues that need addressing and fixing now. Ever notice how many positive news stories there are on news broadcasts? At the end of most they will run a story to lighten things up... Human nature, there's always something to complain about, now go get denatured.
