More canola on our farm than ever. We're cutting way back on wheat. Annual ryegrass contracts in place. Importing some barley seed from the US to replace some wheat acres. Oats may take some more wheat acres yet. We're also growing some soybeans this year.

No they don't saskfarmer. With clubroot, many rotate ****seed 00 every 6 to 8 years.

And you don't have to be royalty to farm, just a farmer.

SF3, we tried a small field a few years ago. There are better varieties now for our area. Also, we didn't have a flex header then but will this year. The header is crucial.

We need to get better at soybeans. We want to be in the veg oil market without heavy dependency on N.

20% canola, 15% red lentil, 25% green lentil, 30% durum, 5% yellow pea, 5% kabuli chickpea. Sub soil fully recharged and snow going fast. Crossing our fingers it will be an earlier start than the past 3 years.

Have been in superwet area last five years.
Given high water table and reserve moisture along with below normal snow, melt water low and soaking in pretty well.
Could be normal to dry conditions for seeding but has looked like that too often past few years.
