Car Shuffle and Baffling a Minister!

I have a question for farmers on this site what they have seen happen in their area on this file.
Out our way about a month ago cars were left and a terminal was told they would move two tracks over the cars on weekend for Monday loading. Monday arrived cars gone. Now that's not the funny part. What's funny is the same thing happened at other terminals on that line.
Magically about 4 days later the cars arrived back and were spotted.
So did the math and this chess move affect how well grain is moving. Basically cars spotted then moved and spotted again.
    I don't know just wondering.
Now again for our Alberta friends and Manitoba into the USA and East are your points getting service.
If so the magic of quick turn around is happening again.
Best winter ever for Mountain snow, No snow in West and Min in East.
So again what are others seeing.
Because to this dumb farmer it seems a little game of chess is happening and our Rookie handling the file is baffled by numbers and lots of leather bound books.
Looks like veg Oil and Meal is also having a tough time leaving the country.
So Im just wondering what others are seeing in their area.

I have seen what seems to be the same thing.

Isn't there a monitoring system that tracks our cars? Making sure that our grain is a dependable commodity for domestic and export market.

Some one should of put with a sharpie a number on a few cars and seen if the same cars came back.
I just think that higher ups are way way smarter than our leaders. Way smarter.
But every thing is fine so move along nothing to see here.

Sharpie! Every car has a # on it. That # goes into a computer system everytime it is loaded/unloaded/spotted and released. Someone should be monitoring OUR cars filled with OUR grain and REPORTING publicly.

good point but then they would have to hire a bunch of People from eastern Canada to come west put them up at best hotels and give them food and car allowances plus mileage etc. Free flights home etc. To sit and count cars.
Hm I have a Gps ring on my kids backpacks and every car key chain. One push of a button I know where all are.
I guess I just shouldn't embrace technology and go back to the old ways.
Come on industry up your game.

            Sf3

Just take a picture of the car numbers. If they are back in under a week or just moved to another terminal then farmers would be able to send that shuffling data to the regulator and ask WTF.

Farmers have to start an app or website on car numbers and where they are located.

            Ritz would probably fund it.

Ah the best place to go when I'm 87 or 92 on a tractor seat or sitting in a dual having lunch. That's my way right till the end.
