I thought it was quite a move for Harper to state:

"And we simply cannot accept outcomes where those two big companies would dictate to the market just what they think is satisfactory in their interests. That is not going to serve the wider interests of grain farmers or of the Canadian economy."

Thats a hell of a lot more than they ever said about the beef sector being taken advantage of by 2 companies.

Probably accurate assessment, just wait and hope it goes away, safer than pissing off the two really running the country, CP/CN.

All rhetoric! Harper can say what he likes, but until he actually flexes some muscle, the railways will be allowed to run this industry into the ground, a $13 Billion industry!

Ritz has been babbling through his mustache for years but I have yet to hear anything resembling common sense.

Mostly he plays second-fiddle to Harper who leads the choir...and he is off-key most of the time.
