An ellevator taking longer than 24 hours to load is unheard of here. They go hard here. Is it any different other places????

Workers are local and work together in the grain ellevators. Pretty sure they have safety in mind and also getting the job done as one From what I see the local guys are doing great. If there are any problems it comes from higher up.

So if they're hauling 100% of the grain, where is the problem?

Tweety on this chart they haul 100 percent of thegrain hauled split in12 months. Chart will average 8.3333333 per month forever. In reality they only maybe hauled 50 percent of grain grownAs some is trucked domestically or carried over. So is why I ask to overlay with actual tons hauled. Percent and tons very different.

more specifically then, they hauled 100% of the grain to be hauled by the railroads.

Did you not move 50% of your wheat last year?

Hi Tweety, the chart is showing what percentage of the wheat moved in the past ten years and last year, 2014, is moved in each month.
So, for 2014 the railways reported they moved about 6 percent of the total for the year in January.
In 2014 more wheat moved per month in the April-August period than in any other month of the year.
The chart does not indicate tonnage moved or where it was moved to.
The railway report is covering all wheat moved in all directions for western Canada.

Just curious how many of you signed up for the Ag Transportation Coalition newsletter. Lots of good information including the wait times discussed here. Everybody wants more information but no one wants to take the time to look at it.
