You still need your conservative mps to change the legislation to let that happen.

My MP David Anderson has said no one is interested in bringing power to the tracks. But before anyone can the legislation has to be changed and this government isn't ready to be proactive.

Good discussion needed... there may be more will to move things along now... than in a very long time.

Rome was not built in a day... so it will take more than a day to change Ottawa.

The High River Gun Grab is a good example. The RCMP is furious with the folks who released the recent report... without the normal RCMP response to go with it... especially when the report clearly said the RCMP BROKE the LAW... and did not follow proper procedure in seizing the guns and breaking into the houses in High River. 1900 broke into... about 1300 of those after the emergency was over.

RCMP complained that they did the same thing during the fire in Slave Lake... and no one complained... so it became normal operating procedure!

My MP Kevin Sorensen has been presented with many difficult questions (at many many meetings) about how this has happened... I can assure you... many of our Alberta MP's are not satisfied with how Ottawa operates!
