Friday the 13th... Interesting day in Calgary!

Hello all! Hunger Strike is on track. Feeling well... especially after the interesting day we had. ExSun news folks Brian Lilly and John Robson were keynote speakers... and I gave a presentation on RR activity and Common Law effects.

As We are meeting in Calgary working on Property Rights at the International Hotel...

It is most amusing... that right beside our meeting room across the hall... was... your and my friends the RR (Strategic Supply Chain...group)

Someone truly has a most interesting sense of Humour!

Interesting response to the PM's speech?

One of our group... was using the washroom... the door was open and happened to catch a few sentences of the discussion.

Something about them needing to find more lawyers...

They noticed the hall way spectators... and quickly closed the meeting room door!

Do you think... the RR are happy about PM Harper's response to SARM in SK?

This move by PM Harper is not a choice to be taken lightly. PM Harper... took real intentional strategic planned loyalty to farmers... and compassion for broader understanding of the real problems we are facing in western Canada.

I don't have to tell you... what CNCP CEO's would have thought... after this shift away from the outcome they were planning... blew in like a 'true north strong and free'... breath of fresh air!

Thankyou PM Harper. Thankyou Minister RItz. Thankyou Minister Sorensen. Thankyou MP Benoit.

    Very MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

P.S. I hope the Video of my presentation works out. When it becomes available I will post the presentations from our Strategic Seminar.

    Have a great weekend!

God Bless Canada... and all of our leaders.

I truly hope the RR understand the magnitude of their error... and change their ways.

      Sorry tom.

Everyone you thanked is blowing smoke and have been for 2 years running.

They are not going to do anything about the railways. Their after politics careers depend on it.

....they don't have to do anything. Their time is up, either by choice or someone else's. Time has been put in.

I consider myself fortunate, but not everyone has time or in a strong financial position to let this problem resolve itself or evolve into a "fair" system for the primary producer.

Your heroes could have used the full four years of their majority to put in place a set of checks and balances and set up system of accountability for all links in the chain. Haste, hell bent on fulfilling an election promise. Now reactive instead of proactive. Anyone in that party ever hear of the word
          "transition".

Many here didn't think the ___ had a shred of credibility. Maybe not, but there was some level of expertise in areas that could have been salvaged...

            Good morning folks!

            Great to hear from you!

In our sessions yesterday... I was stressed over and over... HOW NEGATIVE THE CULTURE OF CONSERVATIVE PEOPLE... TOO OFTEN IS!

I MUST WORK ON THIS... AS OFTEN I AM THE WORST OFFENDER.

If you were the Leaders of our Country... negative remarks... are unremarkable... and the norm.

The exception... is a thank you... and job well done.

Which do you think... will have a bigger impact on future policy of our Nation?

I agree with tom assessment of the PM on this.

In the face of the pr and lobby machine that the railways have working for their own self interest it is a breath of fresh air to have them called out by the PM.

You are delusional if you think the option of a liberal government would serve us better on this file.

The true measure of their success on making improvements will hinge on whether real constructive action is taken on the recommendations of the CTA review and the speed at which it is done and what greater interests are served by the actions.

You folks that bring up the old "could be worse if it were the Liberals or NDP" just don't grasp how democracy works.

                    Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The idea that electing 10 MPs in western Canada that are not Conservative would somehow precipitate the end of the world as we know are mistaken. It is the way to improve things - not because they are NDP or Liberals - but because they are opposition.

You need to shoot for minority or small margin majorities, that way there is always the other parties breathing down the neck of the biggest party. Then everything becomes an issue - there would be interest in the issues raised by farmers or by teachers or any other group. It restores accountability and makes the politician do their job - representing the people.

Not just federally but Alberta and Manitoba would benefit from the same - these "elect a majority Government and let them run it like a dictatorship" deals are the death nell of democracy.

Perhaps all that is needed is a smart phone and common sense!

Railroads will not determine the outcome of the next elections with lawyers or lobby's on the hill

We must be positive and effective in our message

Common sense can win if we use our gifts to best advantages to win our issues in the court of public opinion
It is really up to us to set the agenda
                        All the best!
