My wheat was worth about 25% more in 2008 than I can get for it now.

Standard loading for the CWB was 3-5 days. Sometimes they could do it in 2. Last year the longest wait for one ship was 65 days. This year many ships are still waiting weeks.

No matter what you think you are getting, we should be making about$3 billion MORE if the graincos were not allowed to scoop up the excess basis( Prof. Richard Gray, peer reviewed).

I don't grow wheat , never will. But what is happening with that crop is a result of a world glut, simple supply and demand.

What a selective memory about CWB history we have Captain. We paid through the pools and the fudge account for all demurrage that occurred under the CWB. And there was lots.

To state that average loading times were three to four days is an absolute lie and you know it.

I have made more money with my durum since the CWB has gone than any time in history. There is no doubt that I would be stuck selling my durum for a three and holding 40% of it until next year to be paid in 2 and a half years if the CWB was in place.

I wonder why you would choose 2008 as your benchmark for a wheat price. I sold wheat that year for over $14 per bushel. After I paid the extortion money to the CWB.
