      It has got out of hand.
      The main buyer in area said the other day. I cant wait till it starts showing a profit and not just cash out of account.

        SF3, Can that be verified? that is a lot of coin. What could you grow on it to make it pay. I assume they don't need to make it pay because it will be paid for, but...

        400K @ 4% is 16K. If you net that after ALL expenses and labor are accounted for is it a good investment?

            The USA land owners use landowner associations and companies to negotiate rent or lease land out.

            I don't want to go there either, it is a market reality. Organized to maximize revenues, it makes sense.

            I'm sure the fert. and chem dealers don't like it when farmers shop around either.

              Only reason more rent does not pencil out is the seed companies , fertilizer, and machinery companies got the farmers extra cash first.have always thought the person who owns and rents out the land should get the biggest piece of the pie.But for some reason farmers go buy a million in new iron every year and then tell the landlord it does not pencil out to raise the rent.

                          They are interested in larger blocks or buying land around what they already own. I know guys who have offered them land and were not even made an offer because their land wasn't close.
