      I am in, Gladly...
We need a voice that is not clouded with personal intentions, ie: Tom or Captin Crunch, or anyone with a lack of 'integrity'. Too many barking dogs with their own intentions is making this whole issue a sideshow.
The whole grain backlog mess is a 50/50 problem - rr's and grain co's need to have their ass kicked and stop pointing fingers. One thing for certain - us farmers did not create this mess but we sure as hell are paying for it.

Good idea, but why not use some of the check off funds. I think this does have something to do with marketing. Get this mess straightened out and prod groups will get repaid by us selling more and they get the check offs back then.

Larry has a history of working in farmers interests in my opinion. Is he educating any little larry webbers? Tom4 should get an A for effort. Sask3 could use a productive job. Too much division. We even have people saying the railways are doing a good job just cause they got rid of the malt early. Sold canola early. Peas gone. Not every year works perfect one would think all farmers would at least know that. Too many look back 6 months farmers and not many on the whole.

How do you get every farmer supporting one voice?

Leave politics, religion and past issues like the CWB out and one voice may be more effective than anyone could imagine. One voice can focus on the task at hand. It may not work but it would be better than the current circus acts from all over.
I am sure any clear ideas would be worth considering .

don't need every single farmers vote ? just the majority of forward thinking farmers that want to see progress

You guys are funny. Two farmers living down the same road cant agree on most things.

MB, that reminded me of an Alberta Cabinet Minister I once new back in the eighties. He said to me "put 2 farmers in a room and you'll end up with three differing points of view". Another gem: "Beware of a farmer carrying a brief case."

Cattlemen work together. Dairymen. organics do too Just takes a moment of commitment to focus on transportation. Put everything on the table. Everything. And then either agree to agree. Or agree to disagree. Or engage in one hell of a fist fight.

                          Works every time. Pars.

Cattlemen work together? you've got to be kidding parsley. The most stubborn, independent of all in agriculture are the cowboys. We've learnt that over the last decade.

Was a supporter of the Saskatchewan Stockman's Association for many years. The Canadian Cattlemen's Association. The Canadian Hereford Association. The Saskatchewan Hereford Association. Southeast Saskatchewan Hereford Association. Countless local sales associations which included many breed varieties.

In fact, Canadian Western Agribition was created by cattlemen, with one of the main builders of the yearly internationally-attended event, being a cattleman by the name of Chris Sutter.

Cattlemen I knew, and dealt with, arranged and promoted international sales of breeding stock and embryos, to international buyers. These buyers lived in every country of the world. cattlemen.arranged local sales. Supported 4-H.

                              My. My.

So, you see grassy, I worked with them, remain friends with them, admire them, and am very grateful to them for the co-ordinated efficiency they lived and breathed, as they contributed to our economies locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally.

We obviously don't live in the same world, grassy. Or perhaps we don't view it the same. pars.
