Look no farther than Ontario where the Sierra Club whispers in Wynnes ear and farmers lose seed treatments. Think Trudeau Lite cares about your canola?

Just some observations:
1. Canadians don't elect Governments - they throw them out after time.
2. Harper has had enough time to really piss off a lot of people. C-51 is something everyone should be concerned about. The consensus is he really screwed up the Keystone file. Focusing on things like 'tough on criminals' when violent crime is at its lowest level since 1972, ISIL, Gun laws, which btw, the new registry law though introduced eons ago will not make it through before the next election, tax promises that have yet to be approved though being widely advertised, the limp dick response to national transportation policy and safety legislation, on and on. And oh, how about the economy? The delayed budget? The only way they can balance the budget is by fudging the numbers. Folks, the Canadian economy is in rapid decline while other G 7 types are rising. Oil!!!
3. Trudeau mania! Happened once before. I've listened to some of JT's speeches and would caution that he should not be underestimated. Very good with words and phrases.
4. Tom Mulcair - will eat both Harper and Trudeau in the election forums. Watch QP. He's a dam good lawyer and debater.
Just my observations. Not sure how I will vote but my local candidate will be top of the list, not the party or leader. We need electoral reform where somehow we elect the best of the best and not just team jerseys and rah rah politics.

This government has done precious little for ag in the time it has been in power. It has not handled most of the files very well. When they have the farmer vote in their back pocket, they only need to pay attention to the needs of their corporate financial backers.

what do you want to hear? ( you give me your ideas first)
the whole thing is pretty f ed up.
we used to own one of the RRs.
if we still did, then we could have
built it up til it worked for every shipper.
but no , con.s and libs thought a corporate monopoly was a better idea.
imagine that!
How about , instead of leaving all the power with the guys that screwed it up in the first place. rr.s and grain co.s
make the grain co.s top up each others ships , and get em the hell out of the harbor. like it was under the board.
if that can't work. then the gov. get off it's ass and see what will work.
Build storage at the ports ? something
at least look at the problem.
who runs this country ? the railroads or the govt.
instead of kissing ass with the RRs play some hard ball.
actually break up the monopoly.
there must be some govt. power Mulroney did not give away
the con.s and libs made this mess and tied our hands.
now you want a miracle.
our options are really kind of slim.
we should be the richest nation on the planet.

And you don't have to look any further than Alberta and the federal Conservatives to see a total disaster. Keep rewarding them for doing terrible job.

Redford was a liberal in the PC party.
As far as the federal government goes, Zoolander Justin or Mulcair would lead us to a very disastrous state.
Harper is the best option in my opinion but it's a free country so you can vote for a Substitute drama teacher or Socialist from Quebec and expect better results if you wish.

This is a tough one. Two Yahoos joining against one who's time to retire is here.
I vote for the one who's time to retire is here.
See if I was PM I would have retired at Xmas had a big rah rah rah party picked a new leader new blood and took the other two right out of the equation.
But then Im not PM and never want to be PM.
Now Ag Minister maybe. No not really. I couldn't travel around the world selling our product to countries only to not have it able to get to port.

If you have the ability and take the time I would suggest you look on Wickipedia for a quick search of Trudeau's background and education. It appears to me that he has a lot more going for him than our present PM when he became PM. Harper founded the Northern Foundation and was a member of the "National Citizens'Coalition". Google the goals of these two groups and see if you support them. I don't.
