    Cocktail Friday!

Ah what a week. Deliveries are again slowing down. I guess the big snow event must have effected the system. Its Friday and I really don't give a shit.
System is broken and needs a fix. Some don't know system is broken. Others that do are seriously scared.
So sick of Politicians and their lets travel the world and have meetings and study things all the while doing sweet F$%K all. Farmers are hurting. Exporters are hurting yet nothing changes it will when the farmers produce a smaller crop that is probably their plan, or if we study for a next year or so it will go away.
Simply as it stands now no Contributions to any political party and still thinking next election it is a good time to just sit back and enjoy the day not caring who wins or loses.
But its Friday so here we go. And I think this fits what some in politics aren't seeing. Some might get a surprise on election night.

    Dark and Stormy.

You may like this seemingly simple cocktail; it only has two ingredients, after all. Combine rum and ginger beer and you’ve got a good drink. Combine rum and homemade ginger beer, you’ve made a standout cocktail.

    Dark and Stormy Recipe

    Servings: 4-6

    Ingredients

Ginger Beer Juice of 4 limes
    1 cup orange juice
    4 cups water
Two 3-inch pieces ginger, peeled and coarsely grated
    1/2 cup sugar
    4 cloves
    4 cardamom pods

Dark and Stormy2 oz dark rum
    3 oz Ginger Beer
    Lime wedge

    Directions

    To Make Ginger Beer:

    1. Combine the lime juice, orange juice, water, ginger, sugar, cloves, and cardamom in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour into a bowl, and let cool.

    2. Cover and refrigerate the ginger beer for at least 2 hours or up to 1 day. Strain before serving.

    To Make Cocktail:

Fill a collins glass with ice. Add rum and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve.

    Ah that's a nice drink.
    Enjoy!

In one word I would say. Yes But funny thing these countries never really paid for the product we were selling. It was a easy way to take shit wheat from other places and add ours to get a decent bread.
Now at Coast were like all the rest except their is a huge deduction out on prairies vs the coast.

Today Its 10: Am safety meeting.
        Its five O'clock some where!

Oh wait have to go to Sask Crop insurance and decide if its a wet year or dry and take the new $50, 70, or $100 flooded acreage part on contract that's mandatory. Premiums are lower, Right once you add the unseeded acreage their just as high as ever.
Should it be 80% coverage or 70% or just say 50%. Oats has greater coverage but costs more than most crops.
        Ah what a fun day.

Ah cocktail Friday might be a bit later than 10.

You have till Tues the decide about CI, it's the wk end time to relax, it's been a hard wk moving all that grain LOL. I'm not buying any extra insurance, where I live the moisture situation couldn't be better, should be able to seed through everything. Buying the extra is such a joke. Too many farmers screwed the system, now the honest ones have to pay for it.

But didn't I read it right that their still going to force all farms to take the basic 50 dollar coverage but now their is a add on part to insurance that is shown instead of hidden.
Yea the joke around home is if one guy has a huge claim on SCI then the next year their is a change. AH big claim last year, Change this year. The locals are always right.

Yes its the weekend and cant wait. Like tom says Cheers!!!!!!!!

                Bigger

I put my unseeded at 70 last year, down from 100.

I thought it was going to be dry. By June 10 we were done at it wasn't dry or warm until June 29.

Had to argue with crop insurance and even the stuff seeded on June 10 froze.

Spot hail loss was excellent program it kept the line companies honest. None of this delay till harvest bullshit like last year. They just asked what did crop insurance give you oh 35% ok were 37% and it was done.
                  Fun times boys.

It might be said the families don't report. They find ways like the mafia to launder through their vertical integration.

And viterra is making good money.

If it benefits the farmer, it will be canned/ made more complex/ bigger deductible/reduced percentage like Agri-Invest.
Really, a safety meeting with drinks, need that at the elevators, LOL.

Customers not wanting to pay for blending at our port and then complaining about composite loading of ships is a lousy reason to miss, and totally unrelated to the property rights abuses of the single desk.

You had better start eating again Tom, as it's obviously going to take you another 10 years to figure out who is screwing you over and start a lawsuit against them.
Shouldn't really be a surprise given that the same handful of grain companies have been trying to do it for close to a century.
"God bless PM Harper and his corporate cronies" LOL.
When will you ever wise up?

                              grassy,

Being belligerent won't buy my logical respect. Actual facts would help!

I went through Glencore/Viterra Financials... and the oilseed crushing business looked like a $2B increase in earnings... yet prices are down with revenue up it looked like 18 percent in line with other industry in our sector.

I see no indication of any windfall of profit in Viterra... such as is obvious at CNCP.
