    Crop Ins. Changes

    Well, from what I understand, if you insure crops now, you must take the unseeded acreage. You can take the unseeded acreage only, and no crops, but not the other way around. Or can you take nothing at all for up to three years and still stay at your premium discount when you get back in at what it was when you got out.. What are others understanding?

    In sask you select unseeded acreage just like selecting crops. then select coverage level you want, $50, $75, $100. crop insurance then calculates the number of acres you pay premiums on using historical seeded acres.$50 coveragge now about $1/acre used to be included. I guess multi peril doesn't cover everything. We lost spot loss hail , now unseeded acres, next up Drought or frost?
