Good morning, some of my wheat was lower on falling number and some was higher, the wheat went on different train depending on falling but did not get discounted, I did futures for march 2016 and dec 2016, basis comes off yep , last year did it at 6 dollars ,

Wheat being you best money maker and you didn't know about falling number discounts???? You could have #1CWRS with 14.5 Protein no sprouts and still have low falling numbers?

Forage, when i harvest my grain i take an average sample of all my bins to the terminal after harvest. I know exactly what vom,, grade, etc. will be. Never had grain degraded because of low falling number. And yes i do know about falling numbers and is getting to be a factor in grading. But for me so far it's been a non-factor.
