Sat at the table having coffee this am and thought I would try and find my first post on AV. Had no luck lol, but was real interesting to see the names who have come and gone. Also, to see how things have changed in the last 5 yrs.
Some have changed their handles over the yrs, wasn't BTO Burbert??
Oh ya can't forget about SK3, from what i seen he leads the way in posts in 5 yrs. Sometimes he does come across the wrong way, but IMO he has raised a lot of good points.
Think when I joined the good ol CWB was still around, now "she gone". Klause made a move to our province.
We've had 5 really wet years and now there's talk of a drier year, who knows what will happen. All I can say is in 7 months we can all tell eachother what we should and shouldn't have done.
Let's all just have safe spring.

I agree the topic comes up lots, but isn't that normal? You work hard in you productive years and if the opportunity is there to cash in, well then we dream of selling and living the so-called "good life "

We still need the CWB to do a better job... as much now as ever!

Our Federal and Provincial Gov's are still needed to pull in the monopoly situations in our economy... the courts are NOT interested in being involved... (unlike the US in many instances) so we must depend on legislation and gov. action to change our destiny!

A hard field to plow... as we are now close to 1.5 percent of the population! Our courts should be ashamed for abandoning our Common Law Rights that built our Canadian prosperity today!

At any age many I know have changed careers, not a one ever said they should have kept farming. Change as good as a rest... yes my age of friends ans neighbors all talk when and how to quit/change, everyone agrees one can not just do nothing.

A lot of posters have come and gone since I started lurking on this site. A lot of good ones have dropped off.
One that was very active was Cowman.
Then he stopped. I guess one of three things happened.
- He died
- Got incapacitated by a stoke or something
- Or he got a life!
Wonder if Burbert met the same fate.
Anyway its been a slice!

Cowman was the most respected person on this site, ever. It has never been the same without him.
