    Happy Easter!

Yes I said a religious talk. But in Canada at least you can still speak your mind, stand up for what you believe in and are pretty safe in your own city home and province.
So from my family to yours a very Happy Easter!
Off for a fun day with family like yesterday.
Looking at old photos and how things have changed. Took all the kids for a drive to my old favorite places growing up as a kid. To where I went to school, played sports. Yes old beer drinking spots and hiding from cops etc and party spots the Diesel could get me into. Back then it was a simpler time. No one really got hurt and we all moved on. Some are gone for good and some have left and never coming back. Some have succeed to unbelievable levels and some have failed but we all came from the same little town, that we have in common no matter where life has taken us.
So on this Easter Sunday I salute the small towns of Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba, plus good friends and family.

    Happy Easter!

Well said SF3, common experiences for many of us. But the communities are disappearing...only have a past, no future. Happy Easter to all, I enjoy the conversations.

Our community will survive for the simple fact that it is about a half hour commute to the edge of Regina. It is now more of a bedroom community than what it was 3 decades ago, a place to live for retired farmers or those displaced by thier children willing to farm. It kept them close enough to "keep an eye on things and provide free management advice".

There was time when we knew just about everyone who lived there, and where. It is now more of a revolving door of commuters. I guess its an
opportunity to make new friends with those that stay long enough.

I would like to thank those community pillars who lead by doing and make it a community I am proud to call home. The accolades may ring hollow under the guise of anonymity but people on this site may well be pillars of their own community.

Whether its our immediate family, our family of origin, our community, our province, our country or simply the fact that we belong to the human race, we are all in this together....

Thanks for allowing me to be part of your Agriville family, I enjoy the perspectives and opinions of everyone.

Take care and Happy Easter. In afew short weeks the country side will be teaming with new life, stop a bit to embrace it. It truly is a miracle....

The stay is short...enjoy the stage your at in your families' lives.

When we were 16, dyed fuel for the Chevy halfton was 16 cents a gallon. Have halfton, will travel. The truck cost $2400. We all had gas tanks in the box. Then I rolled one in the middle of town, main street. I don't know how that happened. By 1974, our new Chevy halfton cost $4200. Oh, the good ole days.

Oh yeh, I forgot this is about Easter. My dear Agrivillers, I think we made it to another spring. Our kitchen has evolved into a greenhouse. That's the sign. No matter the season, AV is only a log-in away. Alls good!

Enjoy the season, have your pet spayed or neutered.
