Oh yeah, I'm just doing as my father did - that's why I moved continents, changed enterprises and am about to move Province now. Nothing changes for me, LOL.

Now you're blaming your fellow farmers for the problems due to them over producing. You sure don't change much - desperately presenting bogus facts to try and back the shaky ideology.

      Breadwinner

"Elevator companies are selling our wheat for a good price at the coast but oversupply by farmers is giving them lots of cheap product. The tides will change and the price will swing upwards"

You really don't make any scene for someone calling themselves as a marketer. Breadwinner your nothing more than a price taker. You better go back to high school and take Marketing 101. Either that get your daddy to explain it to you.

BreadWinner: You're dreaming in technicolor again. Must be a CONservative supporter. If you follow Harper's dreams of joining the Asia-Pacific bullshit pact better be prepared to sell wheat for even less money...we'll be practically giving it away at the farm level in order to compete.

I love seeing you lefties squirm when we put our right wing salt in your wounds. Ganging up won't work just puts you all in the same leftie poorbox. Lol

grassfarmer said " Didn't stop you and your buddies chirping how much better prices were immediately post CWB and of course you attributed that all to the ending of the single desk. Cuts both ways - be honest. "

Um, no i didn't. You can't compare 2 different time lines as only one can exist.

I was curious as you said we lost a national money making treasure and wondered how you arrived at that.

You are too funny tweety, trying to dictate what information people are allowed to include in an argument "You can't compare 2 different time lines as only one can exist." What a ridiculous statement.
I guess under your rules forum users won't be allowed to compare this year's weather with last, this year's crop yields with last year - "because only one timeline can exist"
You are trying to be a smart Alec but that was an epic fail.

                Grassy,

The CWB may have been a 'National Money Maker' for you...

too sad it did not work that way for the vast majority of commercial size western Grain growers!!

Thanks for the idea... you really thought this through?

No, tweety was the one who raised the "National Money Maker" not me. Take it up with him.

Oh grassy, calling something a fail because you don't understand it isn't very useful.

Feel free to explain then how you can run a value test on two different systems (full open market and yet a CWB monopsony) in the same time period.

So far you have been unable to explain anything from any question.

How soon some forget, big difference between export price and what we finally ended up with per bus. on the farm in days gone by also. Quit your whining and read a book. Grass farmer etc. why don't you call up japan and renew your personal relationship with them, i'm sure they remember you from the good old days.

Skimmed the above. A lot of isms being touted by all. Cant seem to find anything new. After several false starts I cant seem to think of anything new to add. Typical of this conversation.
Except maybe for individualism. Maybe if we had lost the War of 1812?

Got any ideas of how we can get rid of the rail monopoly? Can you hear us Ottawa?
