In many parts Canada, we’re finally watching snow melt away, shedding layers and ready to welcome with our arms open wide. Spring may officially be almost here. Plus 20 on Saturday and Rain, what else.
So a couple spring drinks is needed.
Sunny Day
1.5 oz. Reyka Vodka
2 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
Muddled Cucumber and Basil
Spicy Spring Kiss
1.5 oz. Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
0.5 oz. Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur
Top with Champagne
Combine Sailor Jerry and Ancho Reyes and shake well. Serve in coupe glass and top with champagne. Garnish with lime wheel
Ah that has to taste good sitting in a chair with a box of shells shooting gophers.
Winter is a nice season if you can get away and miss some of it. Sorry I'm a Spring to fall in Sask person.
Our northern lakes and fishing either fly in or drive and boat to your favorite spot are second to none. The southern lakes till they get that green tinge are always a great recreational experience. Hell with all the rain the last 8 years most southern lakes have had a great run. Except the flooding.
Our golf courses in Saskatchewan from a small town run one that's more like a pasture to some really great ones.
You can houseboat, Camp and really enjoy. So here is to the second season in Saskatchewan. Winter and something like summer.
This week I missed positive day so no cutting any politician or industry that takes from farmers.
Just realize its only a crop and enjoy the time with family and friends and most of all if you have your children they grow up so fast.
