Old folks say if there's no mice in spring, the bins will be empty, but not ours cause we have fusarium durum in them. Yippee!

Talking to a guy in NW Minnesota, started seeding yesterday and said he was down to 2" to hit moisture. Driest year on record for that area according to his local radio. Things could be alot worse, if this wind keeps up could be like that by May long.

SNOW almost gone, wet spots soaking in, ditches nearly done running. So far so good, windy cloudy and no rain equals drought? Keep those fingers crossed! Too bad it's raining in the USA to screw up prices!

Hey Klause, welcome to the real Saskatchewan!
I can still remember the spring weather of the eighties. Wind wrecked a tractor cab door every spring.

This weather pattern started last fall with rain/snow tracking from the N/W to S/E down hwy 16 from Edmonton .
I am ok with this as well , back to normal will treat us just fine here .

We will have too watch out for the normal sporadic heavier t-storm and hail that we have not seen in 4- 5 years in our area . This also may mean the 7-10 day hot dry spell in mid to late July as per normal .

Furrow your correct with the normal conditions. Since last fall if Edmonton Gets a storm it follows Highway 16 then dips after long lake then back up. Typical Saskatchewan weather. Bring it on.

I would also keep an eye out for more bug pressure this year depending on the jet stream over the next month.
