To early to say if this is a good deal or bad deal but what has become very evident is the Cons could defecate in is mouth and he couldn't swallow fast or hard enough to thank and bless them for it. That's just the spade he is. Dangerous territory when the idols you worship can do no wrong.....

Saudi Arabia has unthinkable human Rights Abuses against women flogging lashing etc..
Why don't Obama and Harper go to war with Saudi Arabia as well? Where is talk about freedom and democracy when it pertains to Saudi Arabia?

        Amnesty International Report 2014/15

The government severely restricted freedoms of expression, association and assembly, and cracked down on dissent, arresting and imprisoning critics, including human rights defenders. Many received unfair trials before courts that failed to respect due process, including a special anti-terrorism court that handed down death sentences. New legislation effectively equated criticism of the government and other peaceful activities with terrorism. The authorities clamped down on online activism and intimidated activists and family members who reported human rights violations. Discrimination against the Shi’a minority remained entrenched; some Shi’a activists were sentenced to death and scores received lengthy prison terms. Torture of detainees was reportedly common; courts convicted defendants on the basis of torture-tainted “confessions” and sentenced others to flogging. Women faced discrimination in law and practice, and were inadequately protected against sexual and other violence despite a new law criminalizing domestic violence. The authorities detained and summarily expelled thousands of foreign migrants, returning some to countries where they were at risk of serious human rights abuses. The authorities made extensive use of the death penalty and carried out dozens of public executions.

Saudi Arabia were the strictest sect until ISIS came along. The Saudis fund anything that has to do with Islam. All the sects are fighting for power. Killing each other. Joining together one day Betraying each other the next. Now of them can be trusted.

But they all have one thing in common. You are their enemy Tom, because you are a Christian.

And they hate Christian countries. And they don't respect us.

That alone does not make the basis of a good business partnership. Add their religious morals to the mix , and a joint business relationship is only for the truly dumb.

Think hard on that, Tom. parsley.

Tom Jackson , I really would like you to stop posting on the Agriville website. You have proven without a doubt that you can contradict yourself , and look utterly foolish with every thing you write. Think about it :I.E. 50.1 % means we don't have the majority of the say in this new enterprise. This is another example of Gerry Ritz' complete stupidity, and why he should be tarred and feathered on national TV.

galaxie500 You surely don't mean to discourage ideas and hamper free speech, do you? it sounds like it. The world we live in gives everyone the right to throw their own opinions out into the sphere of the readers. And if the arguments you encounter are convincing enough, Tom or mussy or blackie all have the right to change their mind.

              That's the beauty of it.

Otherwise you might be married to that ugly girl with bad breath you courted in Grade Ten.. And all because you wouldn't change your mind.

The marketing forum can make us more money.if we don't spend the day spitting at each other.

Tom has provided countless valuable information for years. Free sound info. Don't forget he has. Pars

Tom, just wondering, how is the right thing for Harper to do? And how is this sale of controlling interest good for farmers?

Farmers owned 0 percent of the CWB before today.
                  A Fact.

Not all that long ago, there were 4 farmer owned grain companies operating in the prairies. They re 100% farmer owned and controlled. Between the 3 wheat pools and UGG, farmers "controlled" 70% of the grain business.
If farmers were so interested and placed such importance on having "controlling interest", why did they let them go? What did "controlling interest" get us?
