WP story on Aphanomyces

Nufarm received emergency registration(expires March 19, 2016) of Intego Solo(Ethaboxam-Group 22 chemistry) for "SUPPRESSION" of aphanomyces in peas. This is a seed treatment that provides 40 t0 70% suppression with an average of 50%. On jug treats 709 bushels at a cost of $4.23/bu. There is only one active ingredient in this product and if you're going to use it, it is recommended to use it with another product that have activity on fusarium, rhizoctonia and ascochyta.

$12.69 per acre @ 3 bu/ac for suppression. Imagine what "control" would cost. Add in the other products and it gets scarier.

I was told it was on allocation only - they supposedly had enough for about 600,000 ac ? but not positive on that.
