Grain millers and fall applied roundup!

Well the Freaks have won! No more fall applied roundup on oats to grain millers this fall! You can swath or straitcut and dry buy no fall applied roundup at all if you have a contract in place it doesn't apply till next year! But all who want to deliver oats next year no spraying for fall kill!
    Yea just what we need!

Wondering how long it would take, pre harvest app was always bad PR IMO, to consumers, who are always right. Malt was never allowed but some sprayed any way. Roundup should get cheaper ... soon.

Should have happened a long time ago and wheat should be the same. IMO

Most farmers agree glyphosate is safe. I have heard lots of people say you can drink it.
        Keep spraying.

Haven't seen anybody running for a glass that I know of. Haven't heard of any of the manufactures sitting around the table drinking glyphosate for an evening of fun. I agree it is the safest spray but it's not a food and shouldn't be sprayed on the fruit.

I guess we have been the boy scouts, we haven't pr-harvested oats because your not supposed too. I would bet they crack down on malt barley next. The anti gmo bunch is starting to put their foot down. I would think they will start to test to see who is applying and who is not.

Oats and barley is direct to seeds. Wheat seed is not exposed. Will make straight cutting tuffer.

Maltsters didn't allow it years ago.
