    May weather..

Indications are showing wettish for this area.
Never had much luck seeding in April here but might try to squeeze in some hrsw before May 1st. Soil conditions are about 2 weeks ahead of the past few years. After this cool weather, overnight temps look good till rain events might pick up.
Cotton , what are you seeing May 1 to May 15 with weather patterns?

We will head out into the fields and start with peas next Monday. Second drill will do some HRS. But May 1 looks like we will go hard. Rain event later in month could knock the positive spin on this year right out of the park time will tell.
Oh well farming in Saskatchewan. Their is a reason our land isn't priced the same as some in Alberta or Red River Valley.
Weather more than anything effects our final outcome.

And no doubt you will have the worst drought anyone has ever experienced SF3, let the whining begin.

I predict some of saskatchewan to be dry and some to be wet. Rain even may long weekend.

Geez Sumdumguy, I don't know if I'd feel comfortable seeding quite yet in this corner of Sask. April 21? Earliest we ever seeded was about April 27 and the canola came up and froze. Depending how many acres people have to cover, maybe they have to get at it?
