    Auction action... Kramers

Interesting to see the sales of 4wd tractors in April.
    2013 Case 500 w triples, 467 hrs - $200,000
    2011 Case 485 w duals, pto, 1131 hrs - $270,000
Older 9370's still selling for over $100,000.

Ouch the old Deere burns more fuel.
How come when I had a big case 9390 years ago it and a versatile with similar hp used just as much as my deeres. I must of had special ones. They all burn.
Good luck seeding! Cold here today.

It takes X fuel for X horsepower.

My old massey burns Way less than Hopper bins versatile...

          But he's pulling a 66ft seed master and I'm pulling a 57ft concord.

All that matters is you get along with the cab and it's reliable. Weather it's new or 35 years old all it does is pull a seeder around.

Would you pay $70,000 for a tractor without deff and 800 hrs more ????

I would take the new low hour one hands down, everything else equal.
Nebraska tests show there is a difference in fuel efficiency.

Have a 98 9300 Deere, possibly their best engine before all the EPA mandated crap. Start cold in the shed and there is NO smoke, rarely any working. Fuel consumption is great. But the engine is killing the planet with emissions, what a load of sh*t, just make them burn more, recirculate exhaust gases with complex power choking add ons, and now add fertilizer to clean up the emissions. Industry happy, oil companies happy, we pay for all of it!

oh ya, as far as efficient the Nebraska record holder is the LOW tech Deere 70 diesel from 1955. Gone backward since I guess.
