And we thought the Terminator was far fetched. The problem with their theory is that they can't always be counted on to repair their tractors. Lease it and let them keep it when the lease is up, recycle.

they must have taken a page from seed co.s playbook .
      never give up ownership.
yes their catch is that they can make it so no one else can fix it legally.

pay forever , sadly our govt.s
enslave the people to these corporations.

The richest man on earth didnt get that way by being old school. You now pay a yearly subscription to use Office. Just the beginning. Thankfully there is some pushback. Who owns your data? Whose cloud is it in?

Once the drive themselves vehicles are standard, the computer will be in complete control. As individuals we will not be responsible for any traffic violations. And there shouldn't be any violations if the puter is working. Sounds all right.

Apparently UPOV91 applies to tractors as well. Now when the tractor turns into fence line junk do you call Deere and tell them to come and get their tractor?

that's why 0ld 9370 case tractors selling for $100k at auctions . most people don't want or need all that fancy shit that the dealers can't keep running . there is a real hole to fill in the market for simple dependable machines . someone will address it .

I usually buy the fenceli e junk and run that for another decade. So far so good. Each tractor must have air conditioning and a radio. The "big" tractors get a new air ride seat.
2- 320 hp tractors and a 265 hp tractor for less than $55,000. Its not very pretty but they do what is supposed to be done for a small farm. Maintenance and repairs and tires run about $4000/year so that hurts. Also catastrophic failure is inevitable. In the meantime, keep driving and wait for the next round of really good 4 wds to turn 20 yrs old.
