This could become a can of worms.
I read the western producer article describing that it is an issue of milling quality and not food safety.
But...then.... the author had to make reference to the WHO announcement that glyphosate may be a possible carcinogen. That kind of overshadows the facts of the article.
Looking at the WP comments , there was some people thankful for the decision.
I have seen a few organic blogs and that western producer article is getting flogged. reading the comments part of these blogs, there sure are some happy freaks with the decision.
I think Grain Millers will lose some farmer suppliers but they will come out of this in a good light with their end user customers. The general public wont care about the facts of the decision , but they will remember that Grain Millers said no to pre harvest glyphosate.
Its better to be first, than it is to be better.
