Looks like most the weather models are pointing to problems mid week.

We would have started Thursday but the drill was in a thousand pieces. Lots of guys rolling here, ground is warming up and drying up. Might be a challenge getting decent canola germination.

Only about 200 pieces left to go, maybe start Monday.

First start up day is always a fun time. Either a acre or two or 300 then second drill its the same. Usually one gets the acre the other gets the 300.
                          good luck to all.

Having gone through wettest five years since before homestead days, we are going on the land as soon as we can.
Over flowing sloughs and side hill seeps make new water runs across our fields and a lot of extra turning to go around.
Not a very good time for Ducks Unlimited and Sask Envirionment to advocate more wetlands.
All part of the farming game and if we do not like it, we can do something else.

Seems all good with the old bourgault I will sell it when I retire furrow 3 to 10 years. Bullet proof. Pulling 3000 gallons of anhydrous behind. Thought you would have something bigger furrow.
