Mainstream society wants the latest and greatest from technology when it comes to their smart phones, cars, houses, "smart"_______, etc, etc.
When it comes to food......uh we want in our fantasy minds eye to eat food only from a one cow, two pigs, and 3 chicken farm being run like a farm from 100 years ago using a one-furrow plow and seeding non-gmo seed by hand, stoking and winnowing the grain......hypocrisy much????

I wish a restaurant chain would do something progressive for once. Instead of caving to the backward scare-mongers, they should embrace advancements in food production. Taking a step further, by explaining how and why the crops and livestock are raised.
Like free range, organic, gluten free, non gmo chickens may appeal to some people but even the organic chicken farmer isn't going to be too excited about showing his customers a video from the slaughterhouse.
There's a reason for everything that's done to or applied to every animal and crop. It's not always pretty but theres a good reason.

Eventually, regarding food etc. People eat what makes them feel good. Fat, sugar, or "ethically raised". This issue has been coming at us for a long time. I have no solutions tactics other than information.
But it's going to get worse. Last week I was informed that all the spraying we're doing has as large or larger carbon footprint than min or conventional till. Especially as the chemicals are all carbon based.
Then I watch the news and all the shit in the rest of the world, and I look forward to retiring. Hypocrisy is right.
