So sad that no one can't just run a line inbetween - well Brad Wall is close .
NDP will drain the economy as well -we have seen in sask - through far to much union control and the PC that fills only the cooperate pockets And sad that the Libs only want transfer payments to Ontario the Querbec . What a fuked up system

yes wall is almost NDP lite.

unless by some miracle oil rebounds quickly, it will be a rough ride.

too high public expectations and the cupboard bare.
      not a good combination.

Alberta was already in for at least 4 years of misery before the election .

now the NDP is gonna get to wear it.

How about take the remnants of old con. and wr party's and make a new clean image .
to boot the the ndp out in 4 years.

      call it the Alberta party.

        Call it reality.

No party can "fix" any of the problems anymore. People keep thinking they can, but the financial problems run much deeper then any political parties' ability to resolve them. Boomers have mortgaged our future, overspent, ran it into the ground and now no one wants to start paying the mortgage.

          Tweety

What the results say is that voters are paying attention and those who are taking their positions for granted will be turfed.

True anyone expecting to come back is already here. Last alberta gov't took care of that plus economy here. Is it correct alberta has a flat tax of 10 percent? In which case min wage earners in alberta pay 10 times more prov tax than if in sask. Increasing min wage which maybe a good thing also increases tax revenue and probably also the workforce immigrants seeking the money. We will have to match the min wage just to keep ballance. And charge them much less tax as a bonus.

Get ready is the correct form of topic. As this is going to ripple. Sobies workers now making 15 instead of 10.2. A loaf of bread will now cost 5 instead of 3. Oh ya baby. Ripple ripple.

Hopper How does paying someone 15$/hr seem so bad we pay 1500/day for someone to watch others work on the rigs, $40/hr to drive a pickup around to oil leases , 500/day to teach and you think $15/ hr is over paid. How does anyone survive in this enviroment on less. Another 10cents per cup of coffee will more than pay the difference.

Some of the ones getting $25 aren't worth $15 either.

Tax increases, $15 minimum wage, more expensive groceries and restaurant bills for Alberta.......have fun with the NDP.

Good time to live in Saskatchewan!
