Wheat finally going to wake up?

As was noted in S/F crop report - a big chunk if US winter wheat sucks - most of us knew that for a while now. Rain on a crop heading out less than a foot tall does very little, especially if it's been beat up with frost before hand . But hey the traders did there job and drove down the wheat market last month so wheat could never rally to far up . I don't expect to much of a rally cause there is still too much wheat around acceding to the "market"

Seems like wheat acres may be up in Canada. Why is that? Doesn't anybody see the price signals. Grow pulses or canola or malt barley???? We managed to sell out of all our 2013 carryover seed stock, I don't understand.....but am happy.

NOT today, down 8-10 cents, everyone must be going wheat free, cause that's what it will soon cost!
Oats down 9, soyoil off 45 cents, but canola up a buck? Too much of everything world wide.

US hard red winter conditions could be priced in the market already. If they had an above average on the way, futures would be lower. Also, more wheat coming from former soviet union every year. Supplies look plentiful. Question is, will western canadian bids drop below $4/bu following harvest?
