I'm not against drainage. It has created excellent, productive farmland.
However,good drainage requires skillful engineering and study. Additionally it should have safety valves and plans for worst case scenarios.
Not much of that happened in Saskatchewan. Even with the conservation and development projects. As well, sometimes there are hard choices that have to be made.

"It has created excellent, productive farmland.", I agree but has it in some cases destroyed the same for land along the creeks/ditches? Net benefit for most but at a cost to some others? That needs to be corrected, hopefully the province acts appropriately.
