Farmzone has a low of 0. That is the one to watch in my opinion. Could. Swing higher or lower or disappear all together. Not much can do about it.

Perhaps the message is to do nothing in pricing/marketing unless someone has a gun to head/you need to sell something to pay bills. Turn off the radio or fire up what ever music station relaxes you in the tractor/makes the day better. I would still have my target prices/ways of being informed but job in front of you is to get the crop seeded. Your concerns may be production risk (bigger impact on bottom line than price) - another reason to be patient in new crop marketing.

Realizing that damage really isn't that visible until a few days a frost event, I would be watching the USDA crop progress and condition reports released every Monday. I suspect a lot of you will have your own sources of information including twitter contacts in the HRW areas but the USDA report is likely the most consistent source of crop condition information.
