Possibly a very wet wk ahead!!!!

Drew predicted there could be "significant" rain event coming this wk, two wks ago. My area could be in line for 40mm or more. It took Enviro Canada till now to get on board with this possible rain event.

Bigzee, didn't you get a good shot afew days ago? We've been getting rain(three shots) but in quarter and third inch showers. June is "typically" our rainy month.

Interesting the long range forecast I use shows Central AB getting @30mm this Tu/Wed. They had that in the forecast a week ago, then dropped the precip. to zero now it's back in the forecast again.

Sure could use it. Only half our normal growing season moisture last year. Average winter snow pack but little moisture since. Had 6.6mm in the last 21 days - usually get 43mm in those 3 weeks.

Last time we had a really wet event that flooded and saturated soils was 2007. We are in a very dry cycle in this normally good moisture area.

Sorry freewheat - I will change my request... send it north west -dire need now after frost damage. Damaged plants are now drying up with constant strong dry winds. Some fields canola is just disappearing.

Is the reseeded canola in too deep now and under rain packed ground? How much rain furrow? Peas under water?
