bucket this is what happened to us in 02 , we got first rain July 20 , crop looked done . it started raining off and on . oats , Bly and wheat started re growing . crop ins wrote it off and the local dehy plant swathed it and harvested it as green feed to make pellets . we got $40 /ton , about 2 ton per acre and full crop ins. scic did this to help drought stricken livestock industry. good for us and them . just sayin green feed gonna be at a premium if you do get some rain . also on one wet year canola was nfg , we got it wrote off and worked it up . 2 days later got a 100% hail storm and forfeited $150 hail ins coverage . crop condition doesn't matter to hail ins ! I sure wouldn't get in a panic if it was mine

My crop is patchy and only 2 inches high.

4 more days and it's toast.

Sure I can leave it grow and build up a weed seed bank for 30 years to come.

Oh haha. Just noticed that replace twenty with tweety. Should make sense now. try building and cooking on a wood fire in the back yard. I am soaked my wood is soaked and my dog is wet. What a trooper by my side. Got the fire blazing with lots of effort.

2/10 PLUS 1/10, same here, dark clouds west and north evaporate or just the finest mistiest rain imaginable. Still in the stuck pattern, only spotty soakers.

Sask3 good luck with your perfect crop. A lot of others are wishful to have such an event. This year seems we all want sask3's crop. maybe I would like to have it the past 10 years of his past ten years.

Boys we got another half inch shot. We don't need it. I really wish I could somehow share.

Saw the dark cloud SE of us free, only 1/10", swerves around us and keeps dumping on too wet areas.

We seem to be in a dome now, we had one decent rain and one downpour with hail so far - a few weeks ago. Thunder showers all around us for the past week but zero lately and getting nervous heading into the hot weather.

Still have 14 that need a drink before the heat or they might be in trouble!

As I said in another thread we finally scored a rain. Varying amounts locally from 8 tenths to 2 inches. We had a few showers yesterday and the clouds actually built rather than disappear like they have been.

This is crazy....two of our fields 9 miles from our yard received a small drink otherwise the clouds just keep splitting up and go 5 miles north and south on highway 35 and downpours. This is starting to look like 1988.

NOAA has a big DRY hole over Sk in 5 day precip map. Temps in 30's coming, a local downpour is our only hope, what a hit/miss year so far. Too wet and too dry within miles!
