Have 160 acres of winter wheat that has just finished flowering. A cattle guy is coming to night to look at it to cut for green feed. What is a good price for it standing?

I have heard over 200 a tonne.
Some rumours over 300. But at a certain price they sell the animals.
Ask the cow guy what the go no go price is.
If you are selling feed like this does crop insurance call it zero or do they take into account the feed value?
I think the should zero it and allow everyone to make it to the next year.
Now if we don't work together we are all ****ed.
Let's all become agvocates.
This is one big ****ing disaster.
Worse than 1988 because of where the basic expenses are.
In 1988 there was a quick response. Cheques were in the mail before harvest time.
It's not even in any politicians mind right now.
That's how out of touch conservatives are.
Called david anderson's office and they ask if I wanted him to call. Sure but I would like him to wake up first.
What's he going to say to cow guys. The conservatives left the cow guy hanging during BSE. That's their record.

I guess to be for both major parties at the time so did the liberals.
Lost a generation of good cattle guys.
It's ****ed here for both cow guys and grain farmers.
Canola hasn't closed in and is bolting.
Some neighbors don't think there is a 10 bushel canola crop in a 30 mile radius. Irrigation excluded but their yields will be off as well.
