    Thick smoke!

Headed north last night and wow is the smoke thick after the valley. Last night the sun seemed to set way to early as the smoke made it seem darker.
This morning their is a haze so the sun looks not as bright.
Three more hot days today will be our hottest.
    Ah summer in Saskatchewan.
Riders lose on two fronts. Both the game and our quarterback.
Stats Canada out with their out of date information tomorrow.
I will say canola acreage and wheat is higher. Lots of guys in the east side seeded canola like usual. And guys to the west and Alberta poured it on.
Funny how Mother Nature will deal with this. North froze and reseeded. Canola hates wet feet but also can't stand the heat. Flowers aborted after 28.
Watch a politicians and grain companies and seed and Chem. companies will start blowing smoke up our ass this next month.
First rain and drought over. Or we are studying the situation.
Yield isn't affected by the heat. We will still buy your grain and protein is a problem we can't pay you for.
New varieties can take heat way better. Oh that dead field will come back. You have to pay more for seed as look at all the research we need to do to grow in drought. Me bad said the D word.
You have disease young man now go spray your brains out. Add a miracle chem as it will make your roots stronger to take on what moisture you have. Midge is here.
    Hopefully Wednesday brings relief!

Now all we need are the mirrors and the government can address the dryness.

If it rains they will think the drought is over.

The rain I see in the forecast will act more like a desiccant than help the crop.

But too many don't understand this.

Smoke so thick but off the ground yesterday the sun was barely visible. Looked like an eclipse, half light. That's about all we will hear SF3, excuses/deflection/hope it goes away.
