Heavy showers this evening in S AB. Biggest rain this year. Late seeded crops will benefit. Peas are done already but canola and spring cereals will use this moisture.

Killam since April 1: 47mm.
I drove through Daysland last night... looks like Blackpowder got some rain... puddles in the field for the first time since last snow I have seen!!!

83% humidity here this morning, you mean to tell me the system is southern Alberta that crept into SW Sask couldn't continue to develop on that kind of humidity in the air and track SE of Regina, had it cooled down too much already? Or the system couldn't roll down the elevation of about 900 meters above sea level at Frontier to about 640 meters where I live? (Not directed at bigzee)

Wish I could say 40 mm. , but actually about 4 drops. Our normal systems try to bring up the Idaho lows, then just as the approach the border a big swirling northern start swirling down as if to chase it away. Pattern won't let up. We may be harvesting lentils in July this year. Suck them off the ground. Anyone have an old Vacuvator?
