The graincos got the upper hand.

The longer they keep the government out of this the less they have to use the market. Just take delivery on anything that gets a call because they know farmers have to sell.

And in dire try that's why these programs are set up this way.

Unlike the states where the market help determine the level of coverage.

Graincos have the mps on strings we are ****ed.

It doesn't happen this way in the states.

I wouldn't be surprised to see all grains and oilseeds take a big slide until September or later. There seems to be something about the July 4 weekend that, after, markets take a dip.

All the news is in. USDA planted acres, the ww harvest and quality, etc.

The market will eventually respond to reduced corn/soy acres, dismal wheat quality and yields but it might take until Nov or Dec if the US dollar would just calm down.

That's right because the fx is in the basis.

****ing 78 cent dollar and prices where they are is a perfect example of collusionary tactics.

Not sure I understand the thread. Canola is 80 dollars per ton higher today yet than two months ago. And July pricing is not available to anyone anyway. Down 4.9 today. relax and don't let cottons ***** eat you.

And the carnage continues tonite as Chinese stocks remain in-collapse.

Wow didn't realize that 1/2" fixed drought! Canola crops look way better from the road then they really are.

The rain in S AB is at least 3 weeks late. There isn't much canola left in flower. Going to help fill the pods there a bit but that's it. Brave heart. $12.50 makes that what plus $20 basis?

Yup. 100km/hr and they don't look too bad. Walk in. Different story. Probably wouldn't hold up a sombrero let alone a ball cap if you threw it into the crop. Hope the wind doesn't blow this shitty light poorly anchored crop away once its swathed. There goes afew more tonnes....lost.

I think the fat lady has finished singing here, and isn't coming back for an encore. It's kind of obvious the outcome of this show.....

China doesn't look good. Commodity chaos could get worse.
