    question for sf3

i am really interested in what you do to get any consistency out of liberty ?i have tried everything , sometimes perfect , sometimes wonder if i am losing it and forgot to put liberty in ? lol. i am going 9 gpa 1.65 lpa liberty and 3 cases centurion on a quarter with half the amigo . this last spraying was the last straw , perfect hot calm humid day , sfa for weed control ? rep wont even come around . would appreciate your recipe , thanks

We go 10 and my speed is lower! More pressure than other stuff but not that high! We add assure full rate not the bs rate for canola! And pick spray days the hotter the better! First is done early second is done at bolt and at that time we add a fungicide!

We find our control with Liberty is greatly improved if we amend the water. We use Choice or sometimes ammonium sulphate. Without amending the water Liberty is weak. 10 gal/acre.

any fancy nizzles ? wonder if maybe centurion antagonizes it ?

We use Assure 2 (instead of Centurion), excellent grass control especially if there is foxtail barley present. No special nozzles.

When you all are talking gallons, are you talking U.S. or Imp. When I refer to spray volume, I'd be talking U.S., just not sure whether others do as well???

10 usgal, 1.3 l rate. Top up with centurion for grasses. Imho ambient temp should be at least 23c and weeds actively growing. Usually one pass is enough if timed with row closure. Doesnt control w buckwheat.

We spray in US gal as well. The sprayer tank is in US gal so it just makes sense.

Spray early, spray twice. I get good results at 6.7 gal, 60 psi, flat fan, go slow, 12 mph. I find spraying the night before a hot day works as good or better than doing it in the heat of the day.

Thought all tanks were in US, Imp and litres, your choice. Litres chem per acre, into US gal water at mph/kmh, boy we are all so smart to calculate in multiple units of measure! I always triple check at this age.

Liberty is a desiccant so it only burns off top growth, it does not kill the roots. Adding centurion or assure to it is supposed to help with grassy weed control. My thought is that the top growth dies so quickly the herbicide can't be transported to the roots so therefore adding these products is a waste of money. With liberty it is all timing, second spray just before the canopy closes in, the weeds always grow back because the roots aren't dead therefore you need to take away their sunlight.

My 2nd spray of liberty at 1.35 l/ac and 1 case of centurian / 80 acres at 9.5 gal's/ac 12mph 80 psi double green air induction nozzles 28c.no wind. Had Drift damage on neighbors oats. Hope it grows through but never heard of drift damage from liberty before. Excellent kill on Wed in crop. It did slow down canola. I leave a test strip and it's pretty obvious regardless of what rep says liberty affects canola.
