Kind of hard to make sense of whats going on.

Personally believe oil is on its next leg down, surprising to me the oilsands will the last man standing when this all plays out.

It should cross everyone's mind that Alberta was in serious trouble before any NDP government was elected.

So the biggest part of any mistakes were already cast in stone with some 40 years of previous governments.

One concept that intrigues me is how political parties seem to strive to make a province "ungovernable" after they have proven their failure during their tenure. And then those sorry loser supporters are very quick to point out how much worse off the situation will be because they were turfed out after decades of power.

          Accountability not taken??

The Cons were going to borrow 7 billion....and if it wasn't for them we wouldn't be in this mess....
Even though I am not a ND supporter, it seems no matter what happens, it will be their fault. What should be the richest province going, we fircked it away with the previous government, now, under low commodity prices, another government will be blamed for the mismanagement of others.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, memory not as good anymore,Calvert lowered the royalties,Chretian and Martin imposed austerity after we had a no bid on bond sales in the nineties(think greece).Them two douches would have spent but got locked out of the capital markets and their hand was forced.

If i was a bond fund guy i would buy alberta but who the **** buys ontaridiot and quebectard at these yields unless they know the feds will backstop?which means us tax payers

Ontario and Quebec are in worse shape financial shape than California. The only reason that is not a problem is that the investment community knows that Ottawa (meaning taxpayers in the rest of Canada) will backstop these two basket cases.

The Manitoba NDP just had their financial mismanagement cause their credit rating to be downgraded by Moody's.

Hopefully Alberta doesn't end up in a downward spiral while being ran by the NDP but I assume it will be a painful 4 year lesson.

Sask and the rest of you Capital Capitalists You bitch and moan over the NDs but you are very short on specifics, what you were not able to steal from the poor and give to the rich near as much as you like?
Moodys downgraded Alta to when the all mighty CONS were the powers. It would be nice if you was to give it a rest.
Whats the Wall gov doing ,I dont see the price of oil or farm produce going up under his tootlage?? Hows the roads and investment, oil exploration , o yea we have a ND gov in alta and they are ****ing up the whole damm country. And they may!!! but at least wait for it before you capital over lords run them out of town.
