2.5 inches all at once in a short period of time "is" quite a bit of rain.

Albeit, I would have welcomed it with open arms. We got about that much since the beginning of April in very small doses.

Nothing here, except empty promises by the forecast. Almost 4" in the long range today though.....

2.5 to three inches in a narrowband here in southcentral. 5 miles west 20 to 30 mm. Hallelujah !! Raining again this morning. Thinking everybody is gonna get some wet over the next 2-3 days. Here's hoping,Salute!

A nice inch and a half last night. But got some hail. Power out from 7 pm to noon today.

Good for seeded alfalfa and everything else. Our crops were getting close to trouble.

            Very thankful.

Thought you were under that colorful radar free, probably get more now that it found your farm, lol! 7/10" on some of the farm, 1/10"on some too. Tornado watch of course, hope that misses Craven campers.

Gunna take a tour here soon and see what happened if I can get down the back roads.

Glad to be a one man band right now, ( slow seeding cuz I do it all, so my crops are a bit later than average), it is definitely not too late to help out my early bloom canola and my shot blade barley.

Wadena got just about nothing. You are right about the hit and miss.

For only the second time in my farming career, I am glad it rained. lol

Wadena is the center of the systems, everything is revolving around us and we get nothing. Typical, when you are needing the rain or it sits over us when we don't need any. Well let's hope we get some pretty soon.

Breadwinner. How is it hanging in down there? Haven't been by for a long time? Forecast looks like a good chance, hope you get it.

Freewheat, it is going good but the crops are suffering. Marginal land is not going to be profitable this year, it is looking worse every day with no rain. Let's hope we pick up a couple inches in the next week or the good land with start to suffer as well.

9/10 inch in total. Crop likely trying to put roots near surface to access moisture,, near yard. Started fire tonight without a match or lighter just paper and some older twigs. Burning wood from in the rain now. Wood is dry.
