    ADO,

Good points I like the Beer BBQ point.

    Life is full of paradoxes...

Organic food production does not need to be evil... nor does sustainable commercial production with environmental resources and intentional healthy considerations/respect to/for the foods we grow.

    Cheers!

Tweety? Does telling people what they believe and exaggerating statistics and studies make your point more believable? Who is jumping on Jeffery Smith's bandwagon here?

Laken... perhaps a valium might help?

        Everything in balance and perspective?

How about if we judge... we will expect to be judged by the same measure and for the same base reasons!

        Have a great weekend!!!

Ever had to debate with anyone Tom? Perhaps even a heated debate? Did you take valium? Have a great weekend!

Thanks for being a voice of reason Tom. That is what I was trying to do, asses folks based on their belief system, not mine. Frankly I've grown tired of debating the effects of different systems and don't really care anymore(in debating it). I simply wanted a glimpse at the psychology of the farmers who were uncomfortable with some of their own practices. Clearly that makes me an asshole to a select few.

I called the guy that sprayed his durum 4 times a dumbass because I can't think of any conceivable reason to spray more than 3 times and twice would have likely sufficed...not because he used a fungicide.

1000'S of studies... 99% of which are bio-tech funded/sourced. Those studies are driven to accommodate the desired result in order to increase shareholder value. There is no conspiracy or tinfoil hat, it's about profits.

If all you wanted a glimpse into the psychology of hypocritical farmers, you could have looked to yourself. I would read the following link and take a step back.

Why don't you two prove how vastly superior you are by providing some substance to this conversation instead of fixating on me.

I am not debating the effects of different systems Adam, just saying there is no harm in not fully defending all aspects of modern agriculture.

Who are you to dictate that 3 fungicide applications is maximum and 4 is dumb ass? You just come across as this all knowing, college of agriculture degree holding pompus jerk.
