I agree with SF3 . They should be renting land from a farmer and doing/proving it themselves. That is real proof of ownership of their agronomic skill . They can definitely advertise the heck out of that.

Seriously,
Why use your own $$$ when some one else will do it for free, take all the risk...and still end up with all the credit for doing the 100bu/ac for nothing... or more likely be paid all the way by the grower!

We should have a contest for the most yield with the least commercial inputs!!! Or the biggest net profit award!!! Those would actually be worth watching!

I like your idea tom. Seems industry doesnt understand how profitible farms remain profitable, and expand their businesses. As sf3 says, mother nature has the final say on yield, not the input supplier.
