You are still a socialist. Until you are ready to mortgage your farm for a health care issue within your own family you still want others to pay for your health care.

I meant more of health insurance, but when I have been in the hospital waiting room, I recognize many go there for a sore toenail, a little cough, or a sore throat. So I would be good with say a 20 dollar charge up front to dissuade the abuse.

You'd notice the effect on your chequing account if you directly footed the bill for any stay at any hospital (Canada or USA). PS That includes the ones in your immediate families unless you're real big into charity and looking after those outside the ones you feel some responsibility for.

If you appreciate that fact then bring yourself around to acknowledging that it never would have originally happened anyway otherwise under a conservative or republican government.

Healthcare is one of the many reasons we have the greatest country and why people want to come here.

There may be a few that abuse the system but I don't think sitting in a waiting room you can really always tell totally what someone s ailment is.
But when I see someone that in know has very little resources at the doctors office it's a great thing they get same care as anyone else.

The vast majority of Conservative MP's and PM Harper himself would agree... knowing their motivations. Conservatives are NOT heartless beasts as you make us out to be.

I don t think all conservatives are monsters, I voted conservative and supported conservatives many times.

One of your blind supporters was trying to tell us all that there is just so much abuse that we should pay for healthcare. So had to reply to the bullshit.

A lot of the problem here is that there is confusion and I should be more clear also, the reform hijacked the conservative party because they would never get in themselves. They masked themselves as conservatives but over time as many have predicted its all out in the open.

I truly worry that the real conservative brand will be tarnished by this for a long long time. This will not be good for politics in the long run.

The conservative party should have dumped harper prior to this election if nothing else based upon the duffy scandal which I think ultimately will destroy the party just like Mulroney did.

Obviously people in the conservative party know the dufff story more than the average joe, and if it turns out that damming evidence will come out more than it has already people are going to clobber the party for not stepping up and doing what was the right thing. Jmo

The conservatives have done some good things and I agree with some policies even now but its really come down to the scandal and just the over all I ll sit in a bunker on parliament hill and run things my way that just doesn't sit right with many people. Its really killed democracy and political debate in Canada because basically under this leadership if you have a majority no one else s views are worthy of even discussing and that is wrong.

And really you Tom and freesheep are examples of the extremism to that, Some of us are telling you the ag program has not worked and is not working for us and your reply is that we are communists waiting with our heads in the mailbox. Well I don t go to the mailbox there is nothing and has been nothing there. But at the same time as many have said on here by lottery or luck some get these huge payouts.
We re not saying pay free money hand over fist what we are saying is that there is supposed to be a program that works for disasters we ve had them and have them again this year and the program does not work.

We all have a vested interest in good dialogue with government but our own government ignores us, answers only predetermined questions by pre-selected interviewers. The my way or Highway leadership extends to ND Notley as well as Mulcair in Federal ND Parties. Not sure Justin is clear on how to keep things straight and together... the folks these people gather around them as top advisors are key to predictors of where they are headed with policy.
