No tongue in cheek the USA Dollar is high and if they increase interest rate their the dollar will climb and our two will fall Mexican Peso here we come.

By threatening to increase interest rates... this would have a stimulative effect of bringing spending sooner boosting US economic indicators. Then they fall and presto no need to increase interest as 'planned'!

Tom,agree but we are in the realm of very complicated theory. It use to be easier lol.

Zero interest rate policy has pulled forward a lot of demand and is now crushing us. Something i never fore saw along with lack of demand for credit leading us into this deflationary shock wave so I can only say sorry for not seeing it.

It was easy making the call on the rise of the Aussie and cando years ago before all the cool kids and the fall because non of the numbers turned out but now my mind is in a vaccum and i dont like vaccums lol

I agree. Difficult to wrap head around what is evolving right before our eyes.

In simple terms let's see if September / October Brings a big stock market correction and triggers another round of QE in USA.

Watch for QE announcements coming to Canada in coming few weeks - economy nosediving and needs some support and low interest rates are not going to be enough.
