Wow the media got deflated today with Nigel Wright actually said the $90K payment to Duffy was his idea and the PM had nothing to do with it. Seems Mr. Harper does tell the truth. Latest GasBuddy average regular gasoline prices by state range (converted to price in Can$/liter) from C$0.75 SC to C$1.24 CA. Comparatively, prices range from C$1.11 Ont to $1.34 NWT. Most interesting is only 2 states have higher prices than 1.11 (lowest provincial price in Canada) and those are Alaska and California.

One thing the media and everyone else forgets: oil is down to $45/bbl, in US funds. Our dollar is dropping along with the price of crude so we see little or no advantage. And no I'm not sticking up for the oil companies - I put them in the same pile as all politicians: liars and thieves.
