But 0.22/ L, or $1.00 more per gallon, where the oil is produced!
Absolute CROOKS, cheats, liars, supply and demand does not apply to BIG business and their control of us peasants.
Any excuse to keep or raise prices. Like they live in a vacuum oblivious to real world! And all Govs are in total fear of them! There is NO bigger election issue, unless transportation, to regulate the hell out of them.

PST and GST calculated on price. The higher, the better, more tax for government shenanigans!

If ANY leader brings up pump prices, post it here, we all need to know if any of them are on consumers side!

If any leader brings it up? Excuse me, but mulcair and trudeau would like you to know that if they are elected you the consumer will pay so many carbon taxes and other bullshit green taxes that you can bank on 3 dollar a liter gas. (cue that greasy snake in the grass fake smile that mulcair does)

So you are suggesting that the screwing we are getting now will only get exponentially worse with the other two options? How wonderful! All are assholes.

Just remember that friendly politician Harper is still in charge.....and what happens today is happening under his watch.

What cheap shots. Wheres the balance on commenting about today's leadership.

Mouthpieces??? Or not knowing any better??

Just like a true lefty there oneoffff no conservative is advocating for higher taxes and fuel surcharges. Let's just resort to name calling that seems to be what left wingers do when something is said or done that doesn't go the way they like.

Wow the media got deflated today with Nigel Wright actually said the $90K payment to Duffy was his idea and the PM had nothing to do with it. Seems Mr. Harper does tell the truth. Pretty good for a politician these days. I thought for sure he might have been involved in a cover up. Now if he could only explain why oil at its lowest translates into higher pump prices. Beats me.

I filled up yesterday at less than a buck a litre...today bureaucrats were bitching about gas prices in Ottawa at $1.02.

U.S. has competitive/collusion laws with teeth and use them...we have politicians with no balls.

GasBuddy.com has very interesting historical graphs comparing crude oil prices with Canadian gas pump prices. https://blog.gasbuddy.com/Retail_Price_Chart.aspx

Warning: do not view if prone to outbursts of anger or a conspiracy theorist!
